Step Three: Sanitize

    This step is the most important step. Failure to sanitize may mean a wasted brew session. While bad beer will not kill you it is most certainly a waste of money and time. Everything should be soaked in a sanitizer.

    I recommend B-T-F Iodophor Iodine Sanitizer. It is cost effective and easy to use. Everything should be soaked at least 2 minutes.
    The main thing to remember is SANITIZE! It is not worth loosing a brew.


    Tip It is recommended to keep some around during your brew session. I keep a 5 gallon primary full of Iodophor. I then use this fermentor as my primary fermentor.
